Client Accounting Services Division

We currently are looking for a new team member:

CASD- FCBK01 – Part-time QuickBooks Online/Desktop Accountant (Bookkeeping, Payroll, & Sales Tax) – Local to North Central Florida Area

Our Client Accounting Services Division is in search of a part-time full charge bookkeeper or accountant with solid experience in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, MS Office, and GAAP.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning-up existing companies’ records and setting-up new companies in QuickBooks, for payroll (i.e. EFTPS, FDOR, & New Hire) and sales tax (i.e. FDOR);
  • Daily/weekly/monthly transactions processing to the general ledger (GL);
  • Reconciling GL accounts (e.g. bank, credit card, loans, leases, etc.) and investigating/resolving differences;
  • Proposing and posting adjusting journal entries (e.g. depreciation, etc.);
  • Running weekly/semi-monthly/monthly payroll, paying deposits, and filing payroll returns (i.e. 941, 940, RT-6, & 1040-ES) monthly/quarterly/annually;
  • Prepare and file FL Sales and Use Tax return (DR-15) monthly/quarterly;
  • Assist with other CFO/Controller tasks as assigned; and
  • Tax preparation skills definitely an asset (not required).

The right candidate must be available 10 to 20 hours a week. As you grow with us, you will be assigned a number of clients for which you will be the Lead under the project manager’s guidance. You will start out as a subcontractor and we go from there provided we are a good fit for working and complementing each other’s skill sets. Post requires 5-star customer service, being attentive to details, being focused while performing multiple tasks, self-starter, motivated, positive attitude, staying calm under stress, and providing project manager status updates at least weekly.

DLHC exists to provide excellent services to our clients but we also want you to experience tremendous enjoyment daily in what we do helping business owners succeed.

DLHC operates a virtual office environment, so most of the work can be done from your home office on your own time to meet the various deliverables deadlines. We will meet via Zoom.us for quick meetings and in-person to drop-off/pick-up documents not shareable via the document portal. However, from time to time a project surfaces that will require us to be on-site at the client’s office.

Compensation commensurate with experience. Please provide your salary (i.e. hourly rate) expectations.
